PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kiryu Kazuma (ranked 190 p4p, 556 weight class) and Red Jesus Karter (ranked 22 p4p, 82 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kazuma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Uroko by Dir En Grey. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

and Karter counters with a good, hard body kick but Kazuma shrugs it off.
Kazuma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Karter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Kazuma lunges at Karter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Karter's hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kazuma enables Karter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kazuma manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Karter stays in close to Kazuma's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kazuma wants to get back to his feet but Karter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
