Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben Slam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hero Shima!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slam goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Hero Shima has been cut.
A lazy left from Slam finds it's target.
Ben Slam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shima.
Shima tries to close the distance and clinch but Slam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slam throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shima sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Slam connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shima. Shima circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shima swings widly with a right hand
and Slam counters with a stiff right hand.
Slam misses with a looping right.
Slam scores with a jab to the body.
Shima throws a jab but it's blocked by Slam.
Shima lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Ben Slam has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slam throws a sloppy body shot
and Shima counters with a nice uppercut.
Slam loads up on a big right hand but Shima slips the punch.
Shima lands a body shot.
Nice defenses there by Slam.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shima misses with a lunging right hand

and Slam counters with a nice right hand that sends Shima toppling to the canvas! Shima scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Slam finish him?!

Slam staying out of range there.
Slam throws a sloppy body shot
and Shima counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Shima avoids the body shot from Slam.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shima takes a swing at Slam's ribcage but misses.
Shima with a nice cross.
Shima gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
