Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shen Po (ranked 1114 p4p, 1112 weight class) and Juju Baraka (ranked 161 p4p, 160 weight class). Po's entrance music is Ei-tetsu Hayashi & 木下伸市. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Baraka's choice of entrance music: Burning Spear. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baraka throws a head kick that misses
and Po counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Baraka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Po.
Baraka was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Po clinches up against the cage.
Po swings wildly with an uppercut but Baraka uses good head movement to avoid it.
Baraka throws a punch but it's blocked by Po.
Po throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Barakas head.
Po has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Baraka lands with a right to the head.
Po lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Baraka backwards.
Baraka lands with a short shot to the head.
Baraka cracks Po with a nice body shot.
Baraka tries to throw a body punch but Po avoids it by throwing Baraka back against the cage.
Po's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Baraka swings wildly with an uppercut but Po uses good head movement to avoid it.

Po gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Po prevents Baraka from improving his position.
Po passes to full mount!

Po looking to secure an arm triangle but Baraka defends it well.
Po trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Po throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Baraka has his hands clasped together but Po breaks the hold and Baraka is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Po!

Shen Po was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
