Menendez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kurt Angle Theme. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Menendez clinches up with Muhmoney and pushes him back against the cage.
Nice body punch from Menendez.
Muhmoney has had enough of the clinch but Menendez keeps him there for the moment.

Menendez breaks from the clinch.
Muhmoney scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like AJ Menendez has been cut.
Muhmoney swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Menendez moves into the clinch.

Menendez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Menendez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Muhmoney manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Muhmoney is looking to cinch up a triangle. Menendez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Muhmoney's body to avoid the submission. Muhmoney has instead reached around Menendez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Muhmoney arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
