Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Chris Porter (ranked 5650 p4p, 5419 weight class) and Bruno Berinjela (ranked 476 p4p, 467 weight class). Berinjela has chosen “Yoda” by Weird Al as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Berinjela.
Berinjela is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Berinjela fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Berinjela connects with a leg kick.
Porter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Berinjela tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Porter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Berinjela wants to slow Porter down by chopping away at his legs.
Porter is looking to counter punch.
Porter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Porter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Porter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Berinjela can pounce on him.
A punch lands to the side of Porter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Berinjela lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Porter is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

It looks like Bruno Berinjela has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Berinjela lands an impressive looking overhand right. Porter doesn't seem phased though.

Berinjela throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Berinjela does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Porter drops his hands momentarily and Berinjela takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Porter walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Berinjela! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
