Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justice Christ (ranked 2024 p4p, 3058 weight class) and Menes Kai (ranked 262 p4p, 359 weight class). Kai has chosen The Astronaut - Jin as his entrance music. Menes Kai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Justice Christ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Menes Kai!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ stuns Kai with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kai misses with a body shot.
A big right from Kai misses.
Kai misses with a series of wild punches.
Kai throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kai has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kai throws a right and a left that Christ avoids nicely.
Christ misses with an uppercut. Kai saw that one coming.
Christ connects with the punch.
Christ throws an off balance right hand
and Kai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kai ducks under a wild hook from Christ.
Christ swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Christ throws the left hand but Kai avoids the punch easily.
Christ throws a right and a left that both miss.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Christ lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Christ. Kai does a little dance to reset his feet.
Christ takes one to the side of the head.

Kai wants to land a leg kick but Christ is out of range.
Kai defending well as Christ loads up on a big left hand.
Christ throws a body shot but no joy.
Kai walks into a stiff left hand from Christ.
Kai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Christ throws out the jab.
Kai shapes to counter with a head kick.
Kai moves out of range as Christ strikes.
Christ throws a poor cross that misses
and Kai counters with a straight right hand.
Kai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Christ on the side of the head.
Kai thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Christ if he has to take too many more of those.

Kai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Christ swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kai lands a lovely overhand right.

Christ was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kai keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kai gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kai walks into a straight right hand from Christ.
Kai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Christ scores with a hook.
Kai swings for the body but Christ moves out of range.
Kai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Christ misses with an uppercut. Kai saw that one coming.
Kai with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Christ to score with a decent uppercut.

Kai lands a big head kick that sends Christ tumbling to the mat! Kai takes a step backwards and waves Christ back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Christ is rocked!

It looks like Justice Christ has been cut.
Christ waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kai.
Oh Christ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kai slips a jab and a cross from Christ.
Kai on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Christ seems to have got his legs back now.

Kai is rocked!

Christ cracks Kai with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kai falls to his knees and Christ doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justice Christ!
During a confident post fight interview, Justice Christ thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
