Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Phillip Proctor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitaker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Proctor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Whitaker throws out the jab.
Proctor throws a looping overhand right but Whitaker ducks down to avoid it.
Proctor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Whitaker was well out of range. Poor timing from Proctor.
Proctor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Proctor throws a poor cross that misses
and Whitaker counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Phillip Proctor has been cut.
Proctor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Whitaker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Whitaker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Proctor takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Whitaker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Whitaker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Proctor misses with a double jab
and Whitaker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Proctor thinking.
Whitaker lands with a hook. Proctor tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Proctor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Whitaker in his tracks.

and Whitaker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Oh Proctor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Proctor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Whitaker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Proctor counter with a right hand.
Whitaker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

It seemed like Whitaker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

letting Whitaker counter with a right hand.
Proctor moves out of range of the strikes.
Proctor throws a shot from downtown. Whitaker moves away and avoids it.

and Whitaker counters with a crisp one two that drops Proctor! Whitaker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Proctor to his feet! Proctor is in big trouble!
Whitaker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Proctor manages to avoid it.

Whitaker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Proctor.
Proctor swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Whitaker cracks Proctor with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Proctor looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Whitaker finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Proctor throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Whitaker sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Proctor misses with a lunging right hand
and Whitaker counters with a huge left! Proctor is in big trouble! He's backing up but Whitaker isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Proctor from any more damage. A dominating finish by Whitaker!
