Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Salazar (ranked 3629 p4p, 2966 weight class) and Justin Rosenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 408 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Rosenberger!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rosenberger paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rosenberger gets tackled into the cage by Salazar. Salazar maintains the clinch.
Salazar lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Justin Rosenberger has been cut.
Rosenberger is looking to break free of the clinch but Salazar has double underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Salazar just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rosenberger's brow.

That has opened up Justin Rosenberger's cut even more.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rosenberger has his foot on Salazar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Salazar works his way back into a safe position though.

Rosenberger might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Salazar haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Salazar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rosenberger on the ground.

Salazar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rosenberger is on top in guard.

Salazar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Salazar tries to get out of the position.

Justin Rosenberger's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

A very excited looking Diego Salazar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
