The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulkkinen moves out of range of the strikes.
Pulkkinen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Leonid Zakharov has been cut.
Pulkkinen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zakharov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pulkkinen throws a hook to the side of Zakharov's head but Zakharov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pulkkinen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Zakharov slips a jab and a cross from Pulkkinen.
Zakharov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Zakharov's corner calls for a 1-2. Zakharov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Pulkkinen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zakharov manages to avoid it.

Zakharov throws a hook but Pulkkinen avoids it easily.
Pulkkinen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chuckles Strenght and Conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Pulkkinen scores with a hook to the body. Zakharov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Pulkkinen slips under a jab from Zakharov.
Zakharov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pulkkinen swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Zakharov counter with a right hand.
Zakharov is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Pulkkinen like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Pulkkinen from another fist facial!

A relieved looking Leonid Zakharov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
