The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hill.
Slice looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Hill tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hill has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hill in side control, throwing shots but Slice defends.

Hill has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Slice tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hill wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy.

Hill wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slice, who protects the arm well.

Hill is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slice knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hill has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Slice is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hill yanks on the arm and Slice is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hill.
