The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Covington has his takedown stuffed
and Marcus counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Marcus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Covington on his heels. He'll look to pass Covington's guard now, I'm sure.
Covington is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Marcus dives into side control.
Covington looks to move to half guard but instead Marcus has passed into mount! Damn!
Covington is trying desperately to improve position.
Marcus is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Covington can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Covington tries to improve his position but instead Marcus has taken his back!
Marcus has the hooks in. Covington is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Marcus passes his arm under Covington's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Covington taps!
