The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shayle fails to land with a series of punches.

Shayle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mousasi circles away quickly and effectively.
Mousasi slips a jab and a cross from Shayle.

Shayle misses with an uppercut. Mousasi saw that one coming.
Shayle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mousasi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Dan Shayle has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slow jab from Shayle misses its intended target.
Shayle throws a series of punches but Mousasi avoids them all with ease.
Shayle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shayle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mousasi cracks Shayle with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Shayle tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mousasi pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Shayle is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
