Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Maenpaa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Albert White!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That kick from White tenderised Maenpaa's leg. Maenpaa is trying to keep his angry face on.
Albert White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maenpaa.
A little feinted left hand from Maenpaa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
White stuns Maenpaa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Maenpaa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Maenpaa misses with a straight right.
White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maenpaa moves away.
White looks to throw a body kick
and Maenpaa counters with a straight right hand.
White misses with a kick to the body.
Maenpaa thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice straight punches there by White. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of White.
White shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Maenpaa counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maenpaa scores with a nice right hand.
Maenpaa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Maenpaa throws a hook but White blocks it.
White swings and misses with a hook to the body.
White walks into a straight right hand from Maenpaa.
White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Maenpaa tries to clinch but White is having none of it.
White looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Maenpaa!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maenpaa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
White throws a strike aimed at the side of Maenpaa's head but Maenpaa avoids it well.
White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Maenpaa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Maenpaa prevents White from improving position.
Maenpaa managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by White.

White in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
White has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Maenpaa is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. White yanks on the arm and Maenpaa is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by White.
