Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gomes (ranked 4082 p4p, 4097 weight class) and Conor OShea (ranked 490 p4p, 495 weight class). Conor OShea struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. On his way into the cage it seems that Ronaldo Gomes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ronaldo Gomes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShea clobbers Gomes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gomes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into OShea's guard.

OShea felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
