Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Kahng (ranked 1268 p4p, 3262 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 165 p4p, 416 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahng throws a hook but Duggan avoids it easily.
Kahng on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

I was talking to Kahng's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Duggan jumps guard but Kahng stands there with Duggan around his waist. Duggan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Duggan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kahng does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Duggan wants to free his trapped foot but Kahng is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Duggan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Duggan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kahng defends it well.
