Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gilberto Souza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, El Loco Abreu!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza tries to clinch but Abreu moves out of range.
Souza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Abreu circles away.
Souza gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Abreu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Souza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abreu as he avoids it easily.
Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abreu tries to avoid it but Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abreu to the ground. Abreu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilberto Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut there from Abreu.

It looks like Gilberto Souza has been cut.
Souza wants to clinch.
Souza misses with a jab, cross combination.

Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Abreu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Abreu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Abreu.
Souza tries to move into range but Abreu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Abreu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Souza.
Oh Souza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Good standup being displayed there by Abreu as he connects with a hook.
Gilberto Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abreu rushes Souza with punches - Souza moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Souza goes down! Abreu follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
