Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyreece Sterling (ranked 25032 p4p, 3217 weight class) and Helio De Lima (ranked 603 p4p, 434 weight class). Helio De Lima is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyreece Sterling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Helio De Lima!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Lima tries to avoid it but Sterling manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Lima to the ground. De Lima escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
De Lima gets a double leg takedown into Sterling's guard.
De Lima is stalling in the full guard.

It looks like Tyreece Sterling has been cut.
Sterling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
De Lima is working Sterling over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
De Lima lands a couple of decent looking shots.
De Lima must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
De Lima postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sterling is rocked!
De Lima postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sterling covers up, he's hurt! De Lima keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from De Lima and the ref steps in to end the fight! De Lima can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
