Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deepen Cider (ranked 2642 p4p, 4497 weight class) and Grand Admiral Thrawn (ranked 380 p4p, 560 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grand Admiral Thrawn!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrawn tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Cider to counter with a crisp jab.
Cider throws a sloppy head kick and Thrawn moves out of range easily.
Thrawn lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Thrawn fails in his attempt to clinch.

Cider tries to score with a low kick but Thrawn moves his leg out of the way.

Cider lands a body punch in the clinch.
Thrawn pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Cider lands a hook that snaps the head of Thrawn backwards.
Thrawn tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cider avoids it.
Cider trying to control the position but instead, Thrawn has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cider into the cage.

Thrawn misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cider.
Thrawn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cider is defending well for now.
Thrawn told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Cider lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Thrawn backwards.
Cider cracks Thrawn with a nice body shot.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cider takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Cider digs a right hand underneath Thrawn's ribcage. Thrawn let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cider unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Thrawn! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Cider is unloading with more strikes now! Thrawn drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
