Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Gracie (ranked 470 p4p, 1395 weight class) and Jesus Sanchez (ranked 77 p4p, 222 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - Rollin'. Sanchez has chosen Duele El Carazon as his entrance music. Jesus Sanchez acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 26 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesus Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie forces Sanchez back against the cage and clinches.
Sanchez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gracie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sanchez blocks the elbow strike.
Gracie throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sanchez can't get the takedown.
Gracie gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Jesus Sanchez has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sanchez tries for a takedown but Gracie manages to get underhooks.
Bryan Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Sanchez.

Gracie lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Gracie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The cut above Jesus Sanchez's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sanchez tries to keep at a distance but Gracie has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sanchez takes an elbow to the temple.

Jesus Sanchez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Gracie.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jesus Sanchez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

In his post fight interview, Bryan Gracie started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
