Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Blikstein (ranked 1982 p4p, 783 weight class) and Phillip Terrell (ranked 310 p4p, 122 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Blikstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Terrell!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell looks to land a right hand but Blikstein moved out of range.
Terrell moves away from the strike by Blikstein.
A slapping body kick lands there for Terrell.
Blikstein throws the left hand but Terrell avoids the punch easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Blikstein or perhaps it was just good defense by Terrell, which made it look bad.

Blikstein fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Terrell to the ground. Blikstein is now in Terrell's guard.

Terrell has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Blikstein has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Terrell lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Blikstein backwards.

Terrell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Terrell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bliksteins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Terrell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blikstein had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Phillip Terrell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Terrell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
