Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomas O Conchuir (ranked 25011 p4p, 2216 weight class) and Darius Thibodeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomas O Conchuir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darius Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Conchuir throws a body punch but Thibodeaux moves out of range.
Thibodeaux bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Thibodeaux keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thibodeaux scores with a sloppy right hand. O Conchuir should have avoided that one.
Thibodeaux catches O Conchuir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
O Conchuir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thibodeaux can pounce on him.
O Conchuir walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Darius Thibodeaux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thibodeaux scores with a nice right hand.
O Conchuir walks into a jab.
Thibodeaux cracks O Conchuir on the jaw with a powerful right hand and O Conchuir falls backwards against the cage. Thibodeaux follows up with more strikes that drop O Conchuir to his knees. Thibodeaux keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save O Conchuir! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darius Thibodeaux!
