Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tito Vicenzo (ranked 3070 p4p, 5687 weight class) and Dana Helwani (ranked 380 p4p, 494 weight class). Vicenzo comes to the cage accompanied by Cadaver. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tito Vicenzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dana Helwani!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Helwani. Vicenzo does a little dance to reset his feet.
As Helwani tries to get set, Vicenzo tries to push him back and clinch up but Helwani manages to avoid the attempt.

Vicenzo has closed the distance and engaged Helwani in a clinch.
Helwani takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Dana Helwani has been cut.
Helwani is trying to drag Vicenzo to the mat but Vicenzo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Vicenzo lands a shoulder strike.
Knees to the body from Vicenzo.
Vicenzo pushes Helwani back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Vicenzo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Helwani looks winded!

Vicenzo wants the takedown. Helwani is fighting it off but Vicenzo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Helwani's guard against the cage.

Helwani has his foot on Vicenzo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vicenzo works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vicenzo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vicenzo pushes down on Helwani's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Vicenzo stands up out of the half guard.

Vicenzo has taken the fight to the clinch.

Vicenzo breaks the clinch.
Helwani changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vicenzo tries to avoid it but Helwani manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vicenzo to the ground. Vicenzo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vicenzo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Vicenzo has managed to clinch.

Vicenzo manages to break the clinch.
Vicenzo lands a head kick. Helwani smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Vicenzo rushes Helwani and presses him up against the cage.
Vicenzo dips a shoulder and cracks Helwani with a mighty uppercut! Helwani falls back against the cage and Vicenzo unloads with a barrage of strikes! Helwani is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vicenzo screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tito Vicenzo!
