Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basbaum wants to clinch.
Kaio shoots in for a takedown but Basbaum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Basbaum misses with a few strikes there.
Crunch! Kaio slams his shin into Basbaum's torso.
Horrible takedown by Kaio or perhaps it was just good defense by Basbaum which made him look bad.
Basbaum misses with a double jab.
Basbaum is breathing heavily.
Nice uppercut lands for Basbaum. That snapped Kaio's head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kaio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kaio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kaio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Basbaum might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Basbaum is bucking up trying to escape but Kaio cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Kaio swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Basbaum is now in Kaio's guard. A big mistake from Kaio there, giving up the dominant position!
Basbaum has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kaio has his foot on Basbaum's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Basbaum works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Basbaum gets to his feet. Kaio looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Basbaum throws a right hand that Kaio ducks under and follows up with a left that Kaio also avoids with ease.

Leoncio Basbaum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adilson Kaio.
Basbaum dives in and grabs Kaio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kaio pushes down on Basbaum's head and hops out.

It looks like Adilson Kaio has been cut.
Basbaum punishes Kaio's body with a nice straight punch.
Basbaum misses with a low kick.
Kaio shoots in for a double leg but Basbaum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kaio avoids a punch combination nicely.

Basbaum closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kaio to the mat! Kaio manages to get full guard.
Kaio wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kaio wants to hit a switch here but Basbaum passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kaio there!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Leoncio Basbaum will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Basbaum fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kaio avoids it really well and circles away.
Leoncio Basbaum is winning the standup battle so far.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Basbaum knocks Kaio out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
