Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Magno.
Decent striking displayed by Magno there.
Magno tries to clinch up but Mario circles away and keeps his distance.
Mario shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Magno is trying to control but can't.
Magno looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Magno wants to get back to full guard.
Magno tries to kick Mario off but Mario keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Magno wants to improve his position but Mario is controlling well.
It looks like Mario is going to stand back up.
Magno makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Magno.

Mario trying to control but Magno is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mario keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Magno punishes Mario's body with a nice straight punch.
Magno looks to land a combination. Mario sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Magno gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Magno doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Magno tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mario has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Magno is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mario is controlling him.

Magno manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mario tries to hold on but Magno postures up.
Mario is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mario could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mario is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Magno has taken his back.
Mario is really stuck here.
Mario is breathing heavily.

Magno working for a choke but Mario is defending well.

Magno somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magno is looking to control Mario but Mario is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Mario manages to stand up with Magno still on his back. Eventually Magno drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Mario shoots in and bounces Magno off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Magno looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mario postures up.
Magno looking for a triangle here. Mario is fighting it but it looks tight! Magno pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mario is tapping out - this one is all over!
