Dionisy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Voodoo. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird misses with a body shot
and Dionisy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bird swings for the body but Dionisy moves out of range.
Dionisy swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Dionisy lands a nice looking body shot.
Dionisy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And Bird tries to counter it with a takedown but Dionisy pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bird just misses with a punch to the body.
Dionisy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight.
Bird dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Dionisy gets tackled into the cage by Bird. Bird maintains the clinch.

Bird shoots in for a takedown but Dionisy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bird tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dionisy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Dionisy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bird closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dionisy quickly recovers to half guard.
