The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williamson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Williamson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donal.

Williamson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Donal moves away.

We've been told by Donal's head coaches at League of Shadows MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Williamson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Donal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williamson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Donal was well out of range. Poor timing from Williamson.

Donal swings wildly with an uppercut but Williamson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Williamson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

It looked like Donal wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Williamson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Donal drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Williamson's head, knocking him out cold! Donal is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
