These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adofo throws a lazy uppercut
and Makoba counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Cyril Adofo has been cut.
Makoba lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Makoba looks to score with a jab to the body but Adofo is just out of range.
Makoba connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Adofo swings widly with a right hand
and Makoba counters with a right hand to the body.
Makoba misses the shot to the body.
Adofo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Makoba. Makoba obviously looking to wear him down.
Makoba lands a leg kick that knocks Adofo off balance momentarily.
Makoba seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nice shot lands for Makoba.
Adofo misses with a leg kick.
Bobojo Makoba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makoba steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Adofo.
Makoba was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Makoba throws out a loose jab but Adofo uses good head movement to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makoba drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Adofo right on the button. Adofo goes down! Makoba follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Makoba gets the win via TKO!
