Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Petr Kuzmitch (ranked 3023 p4p, 3691 weight class) and Hal Hawkes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hal Hawkes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hal Hawkes!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Kuzmitch.
Hawkes drops Kuzmitch with a beautiful combination! Kuzmitch stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hawkes is looking for the KO!
Hawkes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hawkes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Hawkes. Those never looked like landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hawkes misses the body punch
and Hawkes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Hal Hawkes has been cut.
Kuzmitch scores with a jab to the head.
Hawkes darts in trying to clinch
and Kuzmitch counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kuzmitch swats away the attempt to clinch by Hawkes.
Hawkes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kuzmitch counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hawkes thinking.
Good shot there by Kuzmitch.
Nice uppercut lands for Kuzmitch. That snapped Hawkes's head back.
Hawkes is rocked!
Kuzmitch cracks Hawkes with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
