The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ with a nice cross.

Batt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Christ manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Batt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Christ is looking to stand up but Batt isn't so interested in that idea.
Batt throwing strikes but missing.

Batt drops back looking for a leg! Christ is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Christ manages to kick Batt off! Batt jumps back into Christ's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batt is standing up over Christ. Christ looks to escape but Batt dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christ wants to get back to his feet.

Batt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Christ, who protects the arm well.
Christ wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Batt misses with the ground and pound.

Christ is wriggling around trying to escape but Batt has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Christ taps out and Batt picks up the big win! Great work there by Batt!

Dylan Batt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
