Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zag Zag!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zag clinches up with Do Souza and pushes him back against the cage.

Zag jumps guard.
Do Souza is looking to stand up but Zag won't let him.
Do Souza stays in close to Zag's body and controls the position.
Zag has control of Do Souza's left arm, preventing Do Souza from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do Souza stopping the sweep attempt from Zag.
Do Souza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zag swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zag escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Do Souza gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Zag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Do Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Do Souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Zag is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do Souza stands and throws Zag's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Do Souza has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Zag is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Do Souza yanks on the arm and Zag is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Do Souza.
