Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Odo Morley (ranked 4382 p4p, 25554 weight class) and Andrew Childers (ranked 0 p4p, 499 weight class). Odo Morley looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Morley fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Childers is looking for the big counter here.
Childers throws a lazy head kick

and Morley counters with a takedown into side control.
Morley is breathing heavily.
Childers is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Morley misses with a head shot. Childers uses the momentum to regain guard.
Childers trying to keep a closed guard but Morley is proving a slippery customer.
Morley landing some decent shots from guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morley prevents Childers from getting back to his feet.

Childers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Childers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Childers is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Morley frees his head nicely. Oh but Childers has switched to an armbar! Morley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
