Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rukter Demenok (ranked 411 p4p, 863 weight class) and Aleksandar Ivkov (ranked 38 p4p, 81 weight class). Demenok kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Moby Dick Speech. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demenok cracks Ivkov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Demenok. Ivkov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Demenok moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromIvkov.

Ivkov throws the left hand but Demenok avoids the punch easily.
Ivkov throws a nice head kick!
Ivkov misses with a double jab.
Demenok has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chakuriki LA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Ivkov tries to bum rush Demenok with a series of wild strikes but Demenok uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ivkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ivkov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ivkov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Demenok thumps Ivkov with a low kick.

Ivkov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A punch lands to the side of Ivkov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ivkov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Demenok fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ivkov.

Ivkov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Demenok connects with a leg kick.
Ivkov walks into a stiff left hand from Demenok.
Ivkov's corner calls for a 1-2. Ivkov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Demenok goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Demenok fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Demenok is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ivkov rolls with it to try and escape but Demenok cranks on the arm and Ivkov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
