Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Borgia (ranked 263 p4p, 717 weight class) and Edward Grubbs (ranked 33 p4p, 100 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Edward Grubbs was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Borgia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Grubbs!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Hugh Johnson and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borgia misses with an uppercut
and Grubbs counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Grubbs misses with a hook
and Borgia counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Grubbs!
Grubbs prevents Borgia from improving position.
Grubbs felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Borgia sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Grubbs is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
