The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a jab when Muvaka was well out of range.
Carter tries to land a front kick but Muvaka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Muvaka wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Carter moves into range and connects with a jab.
Carter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Muvaka.
Carter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carter punishes Muvaka's body with a nice straight punch.
We've been told by Muvaka's head coaches at PhoQus Island Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muvaka swats away the attempt to clinch by Carter.
As Carter tries to get set, Muvaka tries to push him back and clinch up but Carter manages to avoid the attempt.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Muvaka tries to counter by clinching up but Carter breaks away and moves out of range.
Chris Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Muvaka keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Carter.
As Carter tries to get set, Muvaka tries to push him back and clinch up but Carter manages to avoid the attempt.

Carter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Ben Muvaka has been cut.

Carter lands with a big right hook that stumbles Muvaka - he's out on his feet here! Carter follows up with another monster hook that separates Muvaka from consciousness! Muvaka falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Carter stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
