The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGrew gets in close and instigates a clinch.

McGrew gets control of Testo's arms and successfully pulls guard. McGrew will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McGrew seems keen to control Testo's posture.

The fighters are working up against the cage. McGrew manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Testo is trying to break free.

Testo throws a right and a left that McGrew avoids nicely.
McGrew ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Testo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGrew.

McGrew forces Testo back against the cage and clinches.
McGrew scores with a hook to the body.
McGrew lands a shot to the body.
Testo misses with a hook to the ribs.
Testo has had enough of the clinch but McGrew keeps him there for the moment.

McGrew breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McGrew shoots for a double leg takedown but Testo sprawls well. He's pushed McGrew's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and McGrew counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McGrew.
McGrew wants a takedown but no success here.
McGrew lands with a light punch inside.

McGrew's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnny Testo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGrew gets a takedown into half guard.

McGrew has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Testo tries to reverse the position but McGrew maintains control.
McGrew connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

McGrew jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Testo manages to avoid the submission attempt.

McGrew has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Testo is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. McGrew yanks on the arm and Testo is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by McGrew.
