Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Las Vegas (ranked 1537 p4p, 1803 weight class) and Joe McConnell (ranked 80 p4p, 95 weight class). Joe McConnell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McConnell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vegas to score an easy takedown into full guard.

McConnell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vegas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McConnell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Vegas lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
McConnell has a hand on Vegas's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Vegas takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
BOOM! Vegas connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Vegas cracks McConnell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Vegas lands a couple of good shots and McConnell has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

McConnell is trying to roll into a better position but Vegas has get a rear naked choke and McConnell is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
