The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagurski thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bronco Nagurski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nagurski leaves Sanchez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nagurski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sanchez backs up against the cage.

It looks like Martin Sanchez has been cut.
Nagurski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nagurski throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range.
Sanchez has a takedown stuffed.
Sanchez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but Nagurski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
