Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Dole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago Diaz looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to clinch but Dole is having none of it.
Diaz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dole.
No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt.

Diaz connects with a body shot.
Diaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dole's waist but Dole gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diaz off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santiago Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dole is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Diaz has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dole has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Diaz taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dole doesn't care though - he's delighted!
