Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Boxley (ranked 2725 p4p, 3782 weight class) and Branimir Tanev (ranked 393 p4p, 497 weight class). Brian Boxley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Boxley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Branimir Tanev!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxley catches Tanev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Boxley stuffs the takedown attempt from Tanev. Tanev gets slowly back to his feet.
Tanev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boxley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tanev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tanev shoots for a double leg takedown but Boxley sprawls well. He's pushed Tanev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brian Boxley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Branimir Tanev.

and Boxley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boxley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tanev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tanev lands a couple of elbows.
Tanev trying to control the position from guard on top but Boxley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tanev throws a big right hand that misses.
Boxley wants to sweep here but Tanev controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tanev's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Tanev is in close to Boxley's body, working some short punches and elbows.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tanev lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tanev is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tanev controls from within his opponent's guard.
Boxley looking for a sweep. Not yet Boxley, not yet.
Boxley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Tanev advances position into side control!
Boxley gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Boxley really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Boxley is working hard here to advance position.
Tanev is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Tanev lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Boxley is rocked!
Tanev loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Boxley scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Tanev land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Tanev stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Branimir Tanev!
Branimir Tanev spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
