Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tanjro Sam (ranked 5216 p4p, 2586 weight class) and Kaiden Walsh (ranked 549 p4p, 333 weight class). Tanjro Sam had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tanjro Sam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaiden Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Walsh tries to counter by closing the distance.
Walsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sam.
Walsh steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Sam.
Sam scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sam tries to clinch up but Walsh circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walsh stuffs the takedown.
Sam wants to clinch.

Sam drives through and clinches with Walsh against the cage.
Sam tries to work over Walsh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sam has Walsh pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Walsh manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sam goes for a takedown attempt but Walsh pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Walsh wants to counter with a clinch but Sam pushes him away.
Sam moves in looking to clinch but Walsh pushes him off.
Sam misses with an attempted mid kick.

Sam looks for a takedown but Walsh sprawls well.
Walsh wants to counter the offense by Sam and move into the clinch position.
Sam shoots in but no luck this time.
Sam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walsh swivels and escapes.

Sam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walsh swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kaiden Walsh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Walsh tries to counter with a clinch but Sam shakes him off and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sam closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Walsh did well to prevent Sam getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sam is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Walsh desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Sam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walsh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sam is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Walsh is just riding it out for now. Sam eventually gives up the hold.

Sam is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Walsh sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sam looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sam or perhaps it was just good defense by Walsh, which made it look bad.
Walsh wants to counter with a clinch but Sam pushes him away.

Sam shoots in for a takedown but Walsh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tanjro Sam will probably get the nod.

Sam is trying to drag Walsh to the mat but Walsh just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Oh Sam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sam seems to have got his legs back now.
Sam's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Walsh creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Walsh lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Walsh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Walsh lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sam blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Walsh throws a big uppercut that drops Sam! More strikes from Walsh and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sam lies dazed against the cage as Walsh celebrates with his cornermen!
