Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Carrillo-Moreno (ranked 1331 p4p, 3508 weight class) and Tempe Gorge (ranked 86 p4p, 191 weight class). Gorge comes into a darkened arena with his song building. For Heavy Metal we will die! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Brendon Carrillo-Moreno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tempe Gorge!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrillo-Moreno bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gorge's head.
We've been hearing reports that Carrillo-Moreno has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Carrillo-Moreno takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Gorge sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

A nice inside leg kick there by Gorge. That's going to slow Carrillo-Moreno down.
Carrillo-Moreno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gorge's waist but Gorge gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carrillo-Moreno off to one side.

Carrillo-Moreno has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gorge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tempe Gorge showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A punch lands to the side of Gorge 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gorge, as that shot connected.
Carrillo-Moreno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gorge tries to avoid it but Carrillo-Moreno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gorge to the ground. Gorge escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Carrillo-Moreno shoots in for a takedown but Gorge shows good takedown defense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carrillo-Moreno drives through with a takedown into Gorge's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Well Gorge has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tempe Gorge decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
