Menendez comes to the cage accompanied by Kurt Angle Theme. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobq Greene!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that AJ Menendez will probably get the nod.

Greene closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Menendez quickly recovers to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Greene prevents Menendez from improving his position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Greene darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Greene is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bobq Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Greene throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Menendez was covering up waiting for the punch and Greene finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greene wanted to stand there but Menendez had control of the position.
Greene is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

You can see the frustration on Menendez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Menendez is really stuck here.

Greene working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Menendez is doing well to defend. Greene seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Menendez is forced to tap and this one is over!
