Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aki Kulku (ranked 4997 p4p, 5071 weight class) and Emerick Mulumbu (ranked 479 p4p, 482 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emerick Mulumbu!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulku sizes up Mulumbu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kulku scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kulku fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kulku connects with a solid leg kick.
Kulku throws a shot to the body.
Mulumbu wants to clinch.
Kulku defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mulumbu.
Aki Kulku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Despite the aggression on Mulumbu's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Mulumbu shoots in for a takedown but Kulku shows good takedown defense.
Kulku ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mulumbu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kulku sprawls well. Kulku wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mulumbu gets slowly back to his feet.
Kulku lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Mulumbu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kulku sends Mulumbu crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kulku is motioning to the referee to let Mulumbu up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
