Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Bollomard (ranked 500 p4p, 5462 weight class) and Arild Moen (ranked 79 p4p, 487 weight class). Bollomard comes into the arena with Mysterium blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arild Moen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bollomard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Moen closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Bollomard to counter with a crisp jab.
Moen just misses with a punch to the body.
Bollomard misses with a wild body shot.
Moen misses the shot to the body.
An attempted straight right counter from Bollomard misses the target.
Moen throws a jab when Bollomard was well out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moen throws a poor cross that misses
and Bollomard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Moen just misses with a punch to the body.
Bollomard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moen.

Moen cracks Bollomard with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nice uppercut lands for Moen. That snapped Bollomard's head back.
Bollomard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Moen.
Moen takes a swing at Bollomard's ribcage but misses.
Bollomard closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bollomard swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Moen counters with a nice body shot.
Moen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bollomard as he jumps to the side.
Jacques Bollomard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arild Moen.
Bollomard lands an overhand right.
Bollomard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Moen.

Moen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bollomard.
Bollomard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moen was well out of range. Poor timing from Bollomard.
Bollomard misses with an uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bollomard. Moen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bollomard ducks under a wild hook from Moen.
Moen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bollomard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moen was well out of range. Poor timing from Bollomard.
Moen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Bollomard ducks under a wild hook from Moen.
Bollomard was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Bollomard gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Moen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Moen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bollomard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bollomard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moen is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bollomard is working hard here to advance position.
My spies in Cobra Kai Workout Center inform me that Moen has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Moen stands and throws Bollomard's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Moen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Moen working the ground and pound but Bollomard is defending the strikes.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bollomard gets back to half guard.
Bollomard works his way to full guard. Good work.

Bollomard has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Moen doesn't defend quickly enough and Bollomard has managed to lock this one up! Can Moen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bollomard on a fantastic submission victory.
