Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Medium Guy (ranked 25051 p4p, 24688 weight class) and Medium Mann (ranked 617 p4p, 603 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann misses the shot to the body.
Mann lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mann misses with a double jab
and Guy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guy appears to be looking for a big counter.
Mann connects with a right hand. Guy shakes it off.
Mann throws a head kick but Guy moves out of range.
Guy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mann connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Guy momentarily.
Mann throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Medium Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guy keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mann lands a jab to the head.
Guy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mann wants to counter with a clinch but Guy pushes him away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Guy ducks right into an uppercut from Mann.
Guy looks to score with a jab to the body but Mann is just out of range.

Guy stuffs the takedown attempt from Mann. Mann gets slowly back to his feet.
As Mann backs away, Guy returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Mann scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Guy goes for a double leg but Mann avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mann continues to drive forward.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mann swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Guy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mann tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The referee calls for Mann to work.

Guy breaks the clinch.
Guy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mann lands with a cross.
Guy avoids the body shot from Mann.

and Guy counters with a flying knee that drops Mann!

Mann is rocked!

Mann pulls Guy in close to his closed guard and prevents Guy from doing any damage or advancing position.

Mann wriggles free and stands up.

Guy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mann is defending well for now.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Guy.
Mann wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mann tries to stall but Guy uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mann lands a good knee to the midsection. Guy won't want to take too many of those.
Guy has Mann pushed against the cage.

Mann has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Guy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Guy has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Mann.
Mann doesn't have the hooks in and Guy manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mann throws a couple of heel strikes.
Guy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Mann looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Guy passes into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Medium Mann dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mann fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Guy.
Mann throws a low kick but it's checked well by Guy.
Mann stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mann wants it to stay on the feet.
Mann ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mann throws a leg kick which misses Guy's front leg but catches the back leg as Guy tries to avoid it.
Guy lands with a shot to the body.
Mann tries to clinch but Guy is having none of it.
Guy swings for the body but Mann moves out of range.
Guy tries to work over Mann's front leg with a kick but Mann checks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mann ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A nice leg kick from Mann, right into the meat of the thigh.
Guy takes a swing at Mann's ribcage but misses.

Mann shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mann showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mann looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Guy gets back to full guard.

Guy throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Mann postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Guy is tightening it up a little... Mann has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mann reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mann taps out! Nice BJJ there by Guy!
