Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charles Oliveira !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martino Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Oliveira , which made it look bad.
Oliveira drives through with a takedown into Silva's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Oliveira from controlling successfully.
Oliveira slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Oliveira seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.
Oliveira postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oliveira definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Oliveira forces Silva back against the cage and clinches.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Oliveira gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.

Silva told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Silva looking to improve position, pressing down on Oliveira 's thigh with his hand. Oliveira seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Silva paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Silva's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Oliveira picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
