Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nyrkki Rauta (ranked 2336 p4p, 5734 weight class) and Daniel Silva (ranked 300 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nyrkki Rauta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Silva!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rauta tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rauta to the ground. Rauta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Rauta, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Rauta against the cage but Rauta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva drops his hands momentarily and Rauta takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The fighters circling - Rauta throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Silva has Rauta pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rauta tumbling to the mat - Silva dives into Rauta's guard.

Rauta has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Silva is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rauta lands a hook that snaps the head of Silva backwards.

Rauta gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Silva.
Silva told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Nyrkki Rauta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Silva.
Rauta misses with the head strike.

Rauta throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Silvas head.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rauta blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva blocks an uppercut.

Silva pulls guard successfully.
Silva is striking off his back. Rauta thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Rauta blocks the strikes from Silva.

Rauta stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Silva to get to his feet.
Rauta keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rauta.
Nice uppercut lands for Rauta. That snapped Silva's head back.
Rauta throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silva goes for a double leg but Rauta avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rauta continues to drive forward.
Nyrkki Rauta is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rauta slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rauta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
Silva tries to clinch there but Rauta circles away.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rauta pinned against the cage. Rauta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rauta moves into range and connects with a jab.
Silva gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Rauta gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Silva is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
