Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ryo Hamada!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hamada clinches up against the cage.

Hamada gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hasselhoff regains guard.

Hasselhoff has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hamada off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Hamada throws a right and a left that both miss.
A jab from Hamada does it's job there.
Hasselhoff takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hamada throws a shot to the body.
Hamada connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Hamada moves into range and clinches up with Hasselhoff.
Hasselhoff tries for a takedown but Hamada manages to get underhooks.

Hamada turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hamada manages to end up in side control.

Hamada stands up and beckons Hasselhoff to his feet.
A jab lands there for Hamada.

Hamada moves into range and clinches up with Hasselhoff.

Hamada breaks from the clinch.
Hamada digs a good body shot into Hasselhoff's ribs.
Hamada scores with a jab to the body.
Hamada throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

so Hasselhoff counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Hamada pushes Hasselhoff off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hamada lands a nice looking body kick.
Hasselhoff is breathing heavily.
Good exchange - Hamada coming out on top.

Hamada is looking to slow Hasselhoff down with leg kicks.
Hamada has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hamada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A nice leg kick from Hamada, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice straight punches there by Hamada. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hamada.

Hasselhoff with a poor takedown
and Hamada counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hasselhoff seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hamada shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hasselhoff is backing up but Hamada catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hasselhoff covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hamada Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryo Hamada!
Ryo Hamada was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
