The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Island.

Sanders clinches up against the cage.
Sanders wants to take the fight to the mat but Island manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Island lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sanders backwards.
Sanders tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Island smiles and moves away.
Sanders ducks under a wild hook from Island.
Island's coach down at PhoQus Island Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Island's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Island forces Sanders back against the cage and clinches.
A right handed body shot lands from Island.
Island presses Sanders against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Island lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Island unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Sanders! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Island is unloading with more strikes now! Sanders drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
