Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between D.D Panda (ranked 1566 p4p, 1506 weight class) and Ngytsj Diesel (ranked 240 p4p, 230 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ngytsj Diesel!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Panda.
Panda lands a jab.

It looks like D.D Panda has been cut.
Panda is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Diesel is looking to clinch.
Panda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Diesel counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diesel throws the left hand but Panda avoids the punch easily.

Panda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Diesel on his heels. He'll look to pass Diesel's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diesel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Panda can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Diesel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Panda is aware though and is defending well.

Diesel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Panda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Panda manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Diesel isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Panda stacks Diesel on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Panda!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Diesel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that D.D Panda will probably get the nod.

That's time! Panda's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Panda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diesel manages to avoid it.

It seemed like Diesel was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Diesel clinches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Panda takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Panda is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Diesel's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Panda looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Panda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Diesel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Panda throws out a loose jab but Diesel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diesel has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Diesel throws a push kick but Panda slaps the foot to one side.

Diesel swings for the body but Panda moves out of range.
Panda drops down looking for a counter takedown but Diesel sprawls and moves away.

Diesel tries to free his leg and advance position but Panda is retaining full guard.
Diesel advances to half guard.
Diesel scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Diesel slows the pace down in half guard.

Diesel is looking for a kimura but Panda is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Diesel to get the leverage.

Ngytsj Diesel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diesel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Panda pulls his head out easily.

Panda stands and throws Diesel's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Diesel tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Panda presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Diesel sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Diesel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Panda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Panda's back!
Our spies down at at Sydney Top Team inform us that Diesel has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
